HTC is going to launch its much awaited flagship device HTC 10 on April 12 as it has started sending the official invites to the users and the device will be launched in three events at different places. An event will be held in London at 1.PM local time, in New York at 8AM and in Taipei at 8 PM. The invite reads “we admit it. we’re obsessed … but in a good way with #powerof10 at the end of the invite. The invite is posted by the company on their Twitter account.
The flagship device from HTC was leaked several times and was rumored to launch on April 19 according to previous leaks. Some real images of the device were also leaked few days back followed by some new renders of the device too. So far, the device have been teased already by the company on their social media accounts with different new teasers letting the users making guesses about the device design and specs.
The HTC 10 is rumored to have a 5.2-inch quad-HD Super LCD 5 display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. It is expected to be powered by the 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The rumors suggests that the HTC 10 will have 16GB, 32GB, 64GB internal storage options and expandable storage slot with microSD also. Obviously, it will run on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with HTC Sense 8 UI on top.
The rumors says that the HTC 10 will have a 12.3-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and Sony IMX377 sensor. The device will also be capable of 4K video recording. It will also feature a 5-megapixel ultrapixel front-facing camera with Samsung S5K4E6 sensor and will be able to record full HD videos. A 3000mAh battery is expected backing up the device with connectivity options like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n (2.4 and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with GLONASS and USB Type-C with FM Radio support.
