ASUS Zenfone Pegasus 3S launched with 3GB RAM, Android 7.0 Nougat and a 5000mAh battery

Asus today launched yet another new smartphone called Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3S in China that is the successor to the Pegasus 3 smartphone launched last year. The Zenfone Pegasus 3S is priced at 1,999 Yuan (around $288) for 64GB inbuilt storage variant while the company hasn’t revealed any pricing information for the 32GB inbuilt storage option. The 64GB variant of the device ill go on sale starting this month in the country while there is no news available about its global debut and its pricing and availability details as well.

The Zenfone Pegasus 3S comes with an all-metal body and also comes with a fingerprint scanner available on the physical home button on the front panel unlike its predecessor that was having it on the rear side. The Zenfone Pegasus 3S comes with antenna bands placed on the top and bottom end and it features a 5.2-inch IPS HD 2.5D glass display with a high screen-to-body ratio and 720×1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 processor and it has 3GB of RAM with 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage options.

The device also comes with up-to 2TB microSD card expandable storage capacity. It runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box and supports Dual-SIMs. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and an 8-megapixel camera is available on the front panel of the device. It is backed up by a 5000mAh battery with five smart power saving modes and it also support 5V/2A fast charge feature. The 5000mAh battery can deliver 48 hours of non-stop usage and up to 30 days of standby time according to the company. The Zenfone Pegasus 3S comes with 4G with VoLTE, 4G+, Wi-Fi, VoLTE, 3G, GPS and other standard connectivity options as well.

The company recently launched its two new device at CES 2017 event that includes the worlds most advanced smartphone Asus Zenfone AR and the Zenfone 3 Zoom. The Zenfone 3S is the 2nd Tango powered smartphone and also comes with support of Google’s Daydreaming. It comes with a 5.7-inch Quad-HD Super AMOLED display, a 2.3GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU, 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 32GB / 64GB / 128GB / 256GB (UFS 2.0) internal storage variants, Android 7.0 (Nougat) OS with Zen UI 3.0, hybrid dual-SIM, a 23-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, a 3300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support and 4G VoLTE connectivity.
