Promotional ad for HTC Ocean leaked ahead of official launch, A new HTC Vive series phone in the tow as well

HTC is going to launch its new smartphones in the upcoming official event titled “For U” scheduled for January 12th where the company is expected to announce the HTC Ocean smartphone and an alleged new smartphone called HTC U Play. Famous leakster @evleaks has now shared a promotional ad video of the HTC Ocean smartphone that shows the edge panel functionality of the device. In the leaked promotional video, a couple is shown using the smartphone and accessing the various features of the device by touching the edge panel of the device. The device might be launched as HTC Ocean Note with Black, White and Blue colour options.

In an another video leaked by @evleaks on his twitter account confirms that a HTC Vibe branded smartphone is in the works as well. We can see the launch of this HTC Vibe smartphone in the official January 12th event of the company. The HTC Vibe branded phone shown in the video comes with a dual camera setup on the rear side along with a large LED flash.

The all metal phone has antenna lines on all the four sides with a HTC Vibe logo on center. Other specifications of this device are currently unknown and we have to wait for the event to have more details about this new Vibe series device. The HTC U Play smartphone is also expected to launch in the event with a 5.2-inch display and the company will ditch the 3.5mm audio jack with this phone. No other details about the device are currently available. Another HTC device rumored as HTC One X10 is expected to launch in the event that will be the successor to the HTC One X9.

The One X10 is expected to launch in the Q1 of 2017 with a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution. The smartphone is rumored to be powered by an octa-core 1.9GHz MediaTek MT6755 processor and Mali T860 GPU. The X10 will feature a 16.3-megapixel rear camera with a 7.9-megapixel front facing camera. It will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. The leaked image confirms a fingerprint scanner on the rear side of the device.
