Motorola China teases a new phone for December 18, Moto X Style expected

Looks like these are the lucky days of launching new smartphones by different smartphone companies as a number of companies has already announced their event dates for new device launch events. Recently, HTC has already started teasing the HTC One X9 in their new teasers via their weibo account. Now, Lenovo’s subsidiary Motorola has started teasing a new phone for tomorrow’s launch which may be China specific smartphones like Moto Droid Turbo 2 or Droid Maxx 2 that were launched in October or may be the Moto G Turbo edition for China. The Droid Turbo 2 may be launched in this event in China with name Moto X Force, if we believe the rumors.

Lenovo may also launch a new phone in this event but there are currently no rumors for a new Motorola device. The teasers clearly suggests that new Moto Devices will be launched in the event and its not an event for Lenovo related devices. The newest teaser reads as,”# Hellomoto # Friday, give you things to watch “hard” power! See our empire” that hints towards an unknown device launch. First teaser comes with a “M” logo on a large ball and the second teaser comes with a man talking on a phone.

The Moto G Turbo edition was launched a week back in India after launching it in Mexico and Brazil last month. It comes with features like a 5-inch HD TFT LCD display with resolution of 720×1280 pixels and has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a 1.5 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage with expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD card, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and CCT Dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera, 2470mAh battery etc.

Motorola Droid Turbo 2 And Droid Maxx 2 were launched in October by Verizon in USA. Droid Turbo 2 comes with a 5.4-inch AMOLED display with Quad HD resolution of 1440×2560 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 processor (Octa-core, 2000 MHz, ARM Cortex-A57 and ARM Cortex-A53, 64-bit with Adreno 430 GPU), 3GB of RAM, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, 32 or 64GB storage variants with expandable storage slot up to 2000 GB, a 21-megapixels Dual LED Flash rear camera with 5-megapixels front facing flash camera, 3,760 mAh battery, 4G LTE etc features.

The Droid Maxx 2 comes with a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 1.7 GHz octa-core CPUs, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage with up to 128 GB microSD card expandable storage slot, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, a 21-megapixel dual LED CCT flash rear camera with rapid focus and a front facing 5-megapixel camera, a 3,630 mAh battery and 4G LTE connectivity.
