Vivo has launched a new smartphone and a variant of the flagships Vivo V5 and V5 Plus with the name Vivo V5 Lite that comes with downgraded specifications from the V series flagships. It will be available in Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar (Burma) and Philippines regions followed by other regions. The pricing details and availability details of the device are currently unknown. It will be available in Crown Gold and Rose Gold color options. This device comes with a Selfie Softlight flash for perfect selfies but it lacks the fingerprint scanner that was available on the V5 flagships.

It comes with 3GB of RAM along with 32GB inbuilt storage and also supports microSD card expandable storage capacity up to 128GB. It runs on the Funtouch OS 3.0 that is based on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and also supports hybrid SIM Slot.
