Blackberry is going to launch its new Android powered smartphone with a QWERTY physical keyboard also known as Blackberry Mercury or DTEK70 at the CES 2017 event of the company. Blackberry recently announced that its future smartphones will be manufactured and sold by TCL communication and soon after TCL made an announcement that it will announce new Blackberry branded smartphones at TCL 2017 event. We have seen the Blackberry Mercury in a number of leaks in past and was also spotted in leaked images.

Two new leaked images now confirms the design of the device and this leaked images of the device looks like to be a part of an official document or an official device listing. The leaked images shows the 4.5-inch display device and the launch date of Jan 2017. The the leaked image also confirms that the Blackberry Mercury will have a fingerprint scanner on the space button available within the QWERTY keyboard. The second leaked render shows the device in white grey color options along with the physical QWERTY keyboard.

The Blackberry Mercury is now rumored to launch with a 4.5-inch display along with a physical QWERTY keyboard and will be powered by the quad-core Snapdragon 821 SoC that comes with the Adreno 530 GPU while the previous rumors were saying it to be the Snapdragon 625 SoC. There will be a large battery with this device around 3400mAh. It will have a 18-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It will have 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage.

The previous rumors says that the Blackberry Mercury will have a 4.5-inch full HD display with a physical QWERTY keyboard and will be powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage with expandable microSD expandable storage. It will feature a 18-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It will be powered by a 3400mAh battery and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. it is rumored to come with a 3400mAh battery.
