In some leaks in past, we saw Motorola Moto X 2016 got leaked a number of times with some of the specs also revealed by its benchmark details from Geekbench and GFXbench. Later on, some leaks suggested that Motorola will launch Moto X 2016 with name Moto M instead and also got TENAA approval. Moto X 2016 might still be in the works as a design firm, that is behind Motorola wallpapers, may have leaked the Moto X 2016 variant image on their website.

According to @Evleaks, a new wallpaper posted by Onwhite.ca comes with a different device that might be the Moto X 2016. The leaked image also shows the front facing dual stereo speakers are making its come back. The Moto X 2016 have been leaked at Geekbench with model number XT1650 with specs like a 1.59 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with 4GB of RAM. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It scored 2309 points in the single core test and 5344 points in the multi-core test.

At GFXBench it was spotted listed with model number XT1650 and specs like a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and is powered by the quad-core 2.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 ([email protected] + [email protected] – ARMv8) processor with Qualcomm Adreno 530 GPU.  It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box that is a pure stock Android operating system we are getting with the other Moto devices too.

It has 4GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage and it will also support expandable storage slot with MicroSD card. The camera module is interestingly showing a dual camera setup on the rear side with a 13-megapixel and a 21-megapixel dual rear cameras with both capable of recording 4k videos. It will also have a 5-megapixel front facing camera.

Another model number XT1662 was spotted at GFXBench with different processor and specs like a 4.6-inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and is powered by a octa-core 2.1GHz MediaTek MT6755 (Cortex A53 – ARMv8) Helio P10 processor with ARM Mali-T860 GPU. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and might support the Dual SIM option.

The Motorola XT1662 comes with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of inbuilt storage capacity and will also have a expandable MicroSD card slot as well. It features a 16-megapixel rear LED flash camera and an 8-megapixel front facing camera. Other features includes WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB and other options also.
