Honor 5C launched in UK and Europe for $150

Huawei has now launched the Honor series device Honor 5C in UK and Europe as the rumors were suggesting. It is priced at just $150 in the UK and Europe. The device is listed on the official vMall Europe website for preorders and comes in Gray, Gold or Silver color options. The Honor 5C was launched back in April in China and there were no new of its global debut. And now, after two months, it is launched outside China with that affordable price tag.

The Honor 5C comes with impressive specs at an affordable rate. It comes with a 5.2-inch full-HD IPS LCD display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution and is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 650 octa-core processor (clocked at 4x Cortex A53 at 1.7GHz + 4x Cortex A53 at 2GHz). It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card up to 128GB as well. It runs on Emotion UI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture with a front facing 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. It is backed up by a 3000mAh battery and connectivity options includes GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi for both and the 4G variant supports 4G LTE Cat. 6 connectivity as well. It measures 147.1×73.8×8.3mm and weighs 156 grams.

Notably, the Chinese variant of the Honor 5C comes with a fingerprint scanner on the rear side but its not available in this Europe variant. Other specifications are same as the Chinese variant of the device. It was spotted at TENAA, AnTuTu, GFXBench and was also leaked in a set of images.
