AmanAsus is well known and an established brand all over over the world and is popular for its affordably priced smartphones. Asus launched the flagship device in the Zenfone 2 series last year and got huge success. Asus has today launched its new Zenfone 3 series flagship devices with bigger upgrades and low affordable prices. The company launched the Asus Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra in China.
The Asus Zenfone 3 is priced at $249 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage variant while the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant price was not announced. The Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra is priced at $479 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage variant while the other variants price will be announced later. The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe is priced at $499 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and other variant’s price will be announced soon.
Let’s check out the specifications of these three devices. The Asus Zenfone 3 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD Super IPS+ display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by the 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It has two variants: 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, both comes with expandable storage via microSD card. It runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Zen UI 3.0 on top.
It supports dual SIM and features a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF and Laser AF, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 88-degree wide-angle lens is also available. It is backed up by a 3000mAh battery and connectivity options includes 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4 and 5GHz) MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB Type-C. A fingerprint scanner is placed on rear side.
The Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra comes with a large 6.8-inch display with 95% NTSC color gamut and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by an octa core Snapdragon 652 processor (Quad 1.8GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.2GHz A53 CPUs) with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes with 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB / 64GB / 128GB inbuilt storage and microSD card expandable storage. It runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Zen UI on top and supports Dual SIM.
It features a 23-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, Sony IMX318 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS and Laser AF with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera having f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-viewing angle. A massive 4600mAh battery is present with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 feature and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and. USB 3.0 Type-C. It also comes with Dual Five-magnet stereo speakers, NXP smart amplifier and Hi-Res Audio (HRA). It also houses a fingerprint scanner on rear side and it measures 186.4 x 93.9 x 6.8 mm with weight 233 grams.
Finally, Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe comes with a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 100% NTSC color Gamut, Corning Gorilla Glass4 protection and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by the Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU and features 6GB of RAM with 64GB/128GB/256GB internal storage with microSD expandable storage. It supports Dual SIM and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Zen UI 3.0 on top.
It features a 23-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, Sony IMX318 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS and Laser AF with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera having f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-viewing angle. There is again a 3000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and BoostMaster Fast Charging features. It comes with connectivity options like 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB 3.0 Type-C. It also features Dual Five-magnet speakers, NXP smart amplifier, Hi-Res Audio (HRA). It measures 156.4 x 77.4 x 4.2 ~ 7.5 mm and weights 170 grams.
The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe comes in Titanium Gray, Glacier Silver and Sand Gold color options, Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra comes in Glacier Silver,Titanium Gray and Metallic Pink color options and the Asus Zenfone 3 comes in Shimmer Gold, Aqua Blue, Sapphire Black and Moonlight White color options.
