Sony launches Xperia X Dual and Xperia XA Dual in India

Sony has today launched two of its flagship devices in the new Xperia X series. Sony launched the Xperia X Dual and Xperia XA Dual in India while the Xperia X performance was not announced by the company. Both the Xperia X and Xperia XA comes with White, Graphite Black, Lime Gold and Rose Gold color options.

The Xperia X and Xperia XA are priced at Rs. 48,990 (around $729) and Rs. 20,990 (around $312), respectively in India and the Xperia X Dual is currently on Amazon India for Rs. 46,990 and is available for re-order. It will also be available at Sony mobile dealers offline from June 7th and the Xperia XA will be available from the third week of June in the country.

The Sony Xperia X Dual comes with a 5-inch Triluminos display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by the Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 ( 4x 1.2GHz ARM A53 + 2 x 1.8 GHz ARM A72 ) 64-bit processor with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage with expandable storage up to 200GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and supports dual SIM.

It features a 23-megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS sensor, 1/2.3″ sensor, f/2.0 lens, Predictive Hybrid AF and 1080p video recording. A 13-megapixel front-facing camera is also available with 1/3” Exmor RS sensor, 22mm wide-angle f/2.0 lens and 1080p video recording. ot is backed up by a 2630mAh Battery with Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging technology and connectivity options includes 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ GLONASS and NFC. It measures 69.4 x 142.7 x 7.9mm and weights 153 grams. A fingerprint scanner is available on power button.

The Xperia XA Dual comes with a 5-inch  curved glass edge-to-edge display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) (4 x 2.0 GHz + 4 x 1.0 GHz) processor with 700MHz Mali T860MP2 GPU. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage with up to 200GB expandable storage via microSD card. It runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and supports Dual SIM.

It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with 1/3” IMX258 Exmos RS sensor, 1080p video recording and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with Sony IMX219 Exmor R sensor and 88-degree wide-angle lens. It is backed up by a 2300 mAh battery with Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging technology and comes with 4G LTE, WiFi 820.11 a/b/g/n , Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC connectivity options. It measures 143.6 x 66.8 x 7.9mm and weights 137.4 grams.
