Do you remember the Vivo Y31 smartphone that was launched last year in September with MediaTek processor? If not, we will give you the details of it in this article later, but now we will discuss here about the Vivo’s newly launched device Vivo Y31A that is the successor of the Vivo Y31 and it runs on the Snapdragon processor instead of the MediaTek processor used in the Y31. The Vivo Y31A is listed on official Vivo website with full details and images as well. Vivo Y31 is now available for sale too via China Telecom in China for 999 yuan (around $154).

The Vivo Y31A is listed on official website with same specs like the Vivo Y31 but with the processor difference. It comes with a 4.7-inches IPS qHD display with 540×960 pixels resolution and is powered by the 1.2GHz 64bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor instead of the 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor with Mali 400 MP2 GPU found in the Vivo Y31. Vivo Y31A comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage capacity with up to 128GB expandable storage MicroSD card slot.

Vivo Y31A runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop based Funtouch OS out of the box. It features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and F2.0 aperture and a 2-megapixel front facing camera with F2.4 aperture. The rear camera comes with HDR, Panorama features and Night, Sports and Child modes. It has the same 2100mAh battery available and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, USB2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with FM Radio support too. The Vivo Y31 was not having the 4G LTE connectivity and was launched with 3G connectivity option. The Vivo Y31A measures 137.24×68.76 x8.39mm and weights 141 grams.

To recall, the Vivo Y31 was launched with 4.7-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and was powered by the 1.3 GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6580 processor with Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It has 16GB inbuilt storage with up to 128GB expandable storage capacity. It has Dual SIM support and runs on Funtouch OS 2.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has the same 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front facing cameras, 2100mAh battery, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS connectivity options, 137.24×68.76×8.39mm dimentions and weight 137grams.
