David SmithLG’s new flagship LG G5 is now up for pre-orders in the UK on different online retailers. Three online retailers in the UK has started receiving the pre-orders for this new flagship device. Carphone Warehouse has listed this device on their site for £499.99 with sim-free option. Clove has listed the LG G5 for £529.99 and Amazon UK has listed the LG G5 for £499.99. Carphone warehouse will ship the device on April 1st, Amazon UK will ship the device on April 8 and Clove will ship the device in the 1st of April.
LG G5 was launched at MWC 2016 event in February with top-end features. It comes with a 5.3-inch Quad HD always-on display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution and 3D Arc Glass. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB internal storage that is expandable up to 2TB with microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
It features a 16-megapixel rear Dual camera with features like laser auto focus, dual-tone flash and 4K video recording. it also comes with a 8-megapixel secondary rear camera with 135-degree wide-angle lens. LG G5 comes with a front facing camera of 8-megapixel. It is backed up by a 2800mAh removable battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 feature. Connectivity options includes 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual-band), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. It also has a fingerprint sensor and an Infrared sensor. It measures 149.4 x 73.9 x 7.7~8.6mm and weights 159 grams.
It is available in Silver, Titan, Gold and Pink color options. It also comes with some devices called LG Friends. This includes LG 360 VR, LG 360 CAM, LG Rolling Bot, H3 by B&O PLAY, LG Smart Controller and LG Friends Manager.
