Lava has now got the approval for its new device called the Lava Grand 2 and the images of the device have been leaked with the FCC approval. The FCC documents lists some of the specs of the device and looks like it will be a new flagship device from the company. Now we can expect that Lava will launch this device soon as it has got the FCC approval in the US. There are no rumors available currently for this device online, so we have to wait to get more details about this device.

The FCC documents for the Lava Grand 2 comes with some 4G, 3G tests and user manual is also available in the leaked documents. The documents confirms that the Lava Grand 2 will have a 3000 mAh battery inside. From the leaked images we can’t predict the screen size of the device but it is expected to be around 5.5-inches. The leaked documents also confirms that this device will be powered by an unknown Mediatek processor. The other specifications like RAM, rear and front cameras, internal storage and other information is not available in the documents.

The Lava Grand 2 supports FDD-LTE 2600 (B7) / 1900 (B2) / 1700 (B4) MHz, W-CDMA 1900 (II) / 850 (V) MHz, GSM 1900/850 MHz networks. It comes with other connectivity options like 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, WiFi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n HT20/n HT4, Bluetooth v4.0 with BLE and GPS. No other details are leaked with the FCC documents.

In January, Lava launched the Lava V5 smartphone with top-end features. It comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS Full lamination display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS with Star OS 2.0 UI on top. The device is also upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and Samsung 3M2 ISOCELL Sensor. it also comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED Flash, 84-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.2 aperture. This device has a 3000mAh battery and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio support as well. It is available in White color option.
