Lava V5 launched with 5.5-inch display and 3GB RAM for $169 in India

Lava has launched a new device in the Indian market with 4G LTE connectivity called the LAVA V5. The device is priced at INR 11499 ($169) in India and comes with top-end specs. The Lava V5 is now available for purchase in India via eBay India website and retail outlets in India. Company is also offering an upgrade to Android Marshmallow OS for this device which currently runs on the Android Lollipop OS out of the box.

The Lava V5 supports Dual SIM and comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS Full lamination display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB with microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS with Star OS 2.0 UI on top. The device is also upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

 

It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and Samsung 3M2 ISOCELL Sensor. it also comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED Flash, 84-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.2 aperture. This device has a 3000mAh battery and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio support as well. It is available in White color option.
