Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 (SM-W2016) Got TENAA Certification

Last month, a Samsung phone, with model number SM-W2016, was found benchmarked on GFXBench revealing its all specifications. This phone will be called as Galaxy Golden 3 when it will be launched according to rumors. Now, The China certification authority TENAA has also certified this phone and we can now expect it to be launched soon by the Korean giant. Galaxy Golden 3 will be a flip phone with 3.9-inches small display.

According to TENAA listing, the phone comes with a 3.9-inches OLED display with 768 × 1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 2.1 GHz octa-core procesor which will be the Samsung Exynos 7 Octa 7420 (4xCortex A53 + 4xCortex A57 – ARMv8 big.LITTLE) CPU and ARM Mali-T760 MP8 octa core GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage.

Galaxy Golden 3 runs on Android 5.1.1 OS out of the box and features a 8-megapixel or 16-megapixel rear camera with a 5-megapixel front facing camera with autofocus, face detection, flash, HDR photo, touch focus features. It is expected to be priced at Rs. 26725 (around $411) as the phone was found listed on Zauba in India.

The TENAA listing of the phone does not includes any images of the device. It will be available in the Golden color option. It weights 204 gms and measuring 120.4 × 61 × 15.1 (mm). Let’s wait now for Samsung announcement about this phone and we may see two new devices launched this month or next month from Samsung.

Samsung is also working on two new devices, one in the Galaxy J series called the Galaxy J3 and the other in the Galaxy A series called the Galaxy A9. Galaxy A9 was found listed on Indian import/export website Zauba revealing that it will have a 6-inches display than the rumored 5.5-inches display.

If we talk about the Galaxy J3, it was approved first by FCC and then by TENAA and 3C in China. The phone benchmark details and TENAA listing details have confirmed that it will have a 5-inches OLED display with 1280 × 720 pixel resolution, a 1.2 GHz Quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8GB inbuilt storage with up to 64 GB expandable storage, Android 5.1.1 OS, an 8-megapixel rear CMOS sensor camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera, 2600 mAh battery with Ultra Power Saving Mode and 4G LTE etc connectivity options.
