SophiaBarcelona – At MWC 2015 in Barcelona, Microsoft launches 2 new Lumia devices called the Microsoft Lumia 640 and Microsoft Lumia 640 XL. The dual-SIM and LTE variants will also be available of both these smartphones.
The Microsoft Lumia 640 3G is priced at EUR 139 and the Lumia 640 LTE at EUR 159 and will be available starting April. Microsoft Lumia 640 XL 3G will be available at EUR 189 and the LTE model will be available for EUR 219.
Both Microsoft Lumia 640 and Microsoft Lumia 640 XL comes with Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim update out-of-the-box. Both are powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM. Both have 8GB of inbuilt storage with expandable storage up to 128GB.
Microsoft Lumia 640 comes with 5 inch HD IPS LCD display having 1280×720 pixels resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has 8 megapixel rear camera with a 0.9 megapixel front camera and has a 2500mAh battery available.
Microsoft Lumia 640 XL comes with 5.7 inch HD IPS LCD display having 1280×720 pixels resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It comes with 13 megapixel rear camera with a 5 megapixel front camera. It has a bigger 3000mAh battery than Lumia 640.
