BlackBerry Launches BlackBerry Leap Smartphone

BlackBerry have launched new BlackBerry Leap smartphone at MWC 2015 Event in Barcelona. It will be available starting U.S and European markets from April for around $275. BlackBerry Leap is said to replace the BlackBerry Z3 smartphone that was launched last year.

BlackBerry Leap comes with enhanced features such as Security features, Updated BlackBerry Keyboard, BlackBerry Hub, powerful battery, BlackBerry Blend,  BlackBerry Browser etc.

BlackBerry Leap features a 5 inch HD Display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm MSM 8960 processor and runs the BlackBerry 10 OS out of the box.

It has 2 GB RAM available with 16 GB inbuilt storage and expandable storage via microSD memory card up to 128 GB. It has a 8 megapixel auto-focus rear camera with flash, 2DOF video stabilization and 5x digital zoom. A 2 megapixel fixed-focus front camera is also available.

BlackBerry Leap is backed up by 2800 mAH non-removable Lithium Ion battery. Connectivity options includes Micro USB 2.0 high speed, LTE, 3G, 4G Mobile Hotspot, WiFi, FM Radio, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS etc. It also comes with BlackBerry Blend desktop software to connect with your tablet or PC.
