Huawei P8 Lite 2017 launched with 4GB RAM, Kirin 655 and a 3000mAh battery

Huawei has launched a new smartphone Huawei P8 Lite 2017 that is the successor to the 2016’s Huawei P8 Lite smartphone. It comes with upgraded specifications and a refreshed design with premium finishing. A fingerprint scanner is placed on the rear side of the device and it runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat based EMUI OS out of the box. The Huawei P8 Lite 2017 is priced at 239 Euros (around $254) for the 3GB RAM + 16GB inbuilt storage variant and will be available by the end of this January.

The Huawei P8 Lite 2017 comes with Black color option for dual SIM variant comes in White and Gold color options for the single SIM. It features a 5.2-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and is powered by a octa-core Kirin 655 (4 x 2.1GHz + 4 x 1.7GHz) 16nm processor with Mali T830-MP2 with 4GB of RAM + 32GB internal storage and 3GB of RAM + 16GB internal storage with expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD.

It runs on the Android 7.0 (Nougat) based EMUI 5.0 OS and supports hybrid Dual SIM. It features a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It is backed up by a 3000mAh built-in battery and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC.

Huawei has recently started sending the invites for its MWC 2017 event on February 26th where the company is expected to launch the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus flagship smartphones, the successors to the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus launched in April last year. The Huawei P10 is expected to launch with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display and is expected to be powered by a Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 965 processor along with support for 40W fast charge.

It will feature a F2.0 aperture new Leica dual camera lenses while the global version of the device will feature Amazon Alexa voice assistant and Google services. The weibo further says that the Huawei P10 will have a small box on the screen that will display time, power and messaging related information. According to the weibo user, the Huawei P10 might be priced more than 3000 yuan (around more than $435).
