AmanHuawei’s sub-division Honor has launched its new device today called Honor Magic that comes with dual curved edges display. It comes with curved glass back and a fingerprint sensor is available on the home button on front panel. It is priced at 3699 yuan (around $532) and will be available for sale in China starting December 16 via jd, vMall, tMall and suning online stores. It comes with Golden black and Porcelain white color options.
The main highlight of the this phone is the WiseScreen Sensor Magic intelligent sensor and the front infrared camera recognize your hand and your eyes when you pick up the phone and instantly activating the screen of the phone. When you put down this phone or place it in your pocket, the screen of the device goes off automatically in just a second. The FaceCode Intelligent Recognition technology that limits the message notifications access to the pre-registered faces.
Another DeepThink feature allows you access multi-facets information by pressing and holding the home button. The smart home button on the device helps users to navigate between apps easily. The Honor Magic comes with a 5.09-inch Quad HD AMOLED 3D curved glass display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and is powered by a octa-core Kirin 950 (2.3GHz 4 x A72 + 1.8GHz 4 x A53) 16nm processor with Mali T880-MP4 GPU along with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It comes with the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) pre-installed with Magic Live OS pre-installed and the device supports Dual-SIMs.
It features a 12-megapixel dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 6P lens, 1.4um pixel size and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. A 2900mAh battery with Huawei Magic Power fast charging powers the device and connectivity options includes 4G, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. It measures 146.1×69.9x 7.8 mm and weights 145 grams. A fingerprint scanner is available on physical home button.
