Gionee F5 passes TENAA with 4GB RAM, octa-core processor and a 4000mAh battery

A new Gionee device Gionee F5 has just passed the TENAA authentication authority of China in the Gionee ‘F’ series revealing the specifications and the images of the device. The device comes with a full unibody metal body and also features a fingerprint scanner on the physical home button on front panel below display. The device looks like an affordable mid-range phone with decent specs. Let’s checkout the specifications of the device we spotted at TENAA.

The Gionee F5 is listed at TENAA with a 5.3-inch IPS HD display with 1280 × 720 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor that might be the Snapdragon 615 processor. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage capacity with up to 128GB capacity expandable MicroSD card storage slot. It runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box and it will be having the Amigo UI on top. THe deivce is also expected to support dual-SIMs.

It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front facing camera. It is backed up by a 4000 mAh battery and connectivity options includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB and other options. It measures 150×74.5×7.7 mm and weights 162 grams. It comes with White and Gold color options. We can expect that Gionee will make this device official soon.

Gionee is also going to launch its new flagship device with a massive battery known as Gionee M2017 that features a 7000mAh battery. Other features of the device includes a 5.7-inches QHD AMOLED dual curved edges display, a 1.95GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor having a true octa-core 64-bit Cortex-A53 CPU for fastest performance and a dual-core 64-bit Mali-T860 GPU for graphics, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of inbuilt storage capacity, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box and dual-SIM.
