Meizu X expected to launch on November 30 with Mediatek Helio processor

Meizu has just announced that it will announce a new smartphone on November 30 in China that will be powered by the MediaTek Helio processor. The new teaser posted by the company on their weibo account confirms a November 30 unveiling of the new device that is expected be the rumored Meizu X smartphone as certain reports on weibo have claimed the same already.

The Meizu X will be the first smartphone in the Meizu X series and apart from the Mediatek Helio processor and the device name Meizu X, we don’t have any information about the device specifications available currently. The device might be powered by the Helio X20 or X25 processor and is expected to have better specs than the Meizu MX6 smartphone. The company is also expected to unveil more products in the event that includes a second smartphone Meizu M5 Note smartphone.

The Meizu M5 Note was recently spotted at AnTuTu with features including a full-HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution display and is powered by a Mediatek Helio P10 processor (MT6755M) having the Mali-T860 GPU with 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage capacity that might be available with expandable storage slot. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera.

The device was also spotted listed at Geekbench with a MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755M) 1GHz octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM running the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It scored 687 points in the single-core test and 2481 points in the multi-core test. The previous rumors says that the Meizu M5 Note is expected to launch with a full-HD display and will be powered by a Mediatek Helio P10 processor. It will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage capacity. It will run on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera as well.
