Teaser confirms Huawei Honor 6X launching on October 18

Huawei, that was previously teasing the Honor 6X smartphone via their social media accounts, has now confirmed that it will launch its upcoming smartphone Huawei Honor 6X on October 18th in an official event. The company has issued a teaser confirming the event date on weibo. The Honor 6X has already got the TENAA approval last month confirming all of its specs and the images as well. The device will feature a dual camera setup on the rear side and a fingerprint scanner. The device will feature mid-range specifications and will carry an affordable price tag.

The TENAA listing has previously confirmed that the Honor 6X will have two model numbers Honor BLN-AL10 and Honor BLN-TL10. There are no changes in both the model numbers but BLN-TL10 will be available with the China mobile carrier in China. Another difference available in these models is the RAM sizes, the China mobile variant will have 3GB RAM + 32GB storage while the other variant will have a 4GB RAM variant as well with 64GB storage. The Honor 6X comes with a full metal body design and features a 5.5-inch TFT full_HD display with 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution. It will be powered by a 2.1 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor with 3GB and 4GB RAM options. It will have 32GB/64GB inbuilt storage options and will also have support of expandable storage via MicroSD card up to 128GB. It will run on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and might support Dual-SIM.

It features a 12-megapixel dual rear camera and an 8-megapixel front facing camera as well. It will be backed up by a 3270 mAh battery and connectoivity options includes 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and other options. It measures 150.9 × 76.2 × 8.2 (mm) and weights 162 grams. It comes with Gold, white, gray, blue and pink color options.
