ZTE to announce new Nubia smartphone on October 17

ZTE has just issued a new teaser on their weibo account confirming its new event taking place on October 17th in China where the company is expected to launch a new smartphone. According to rumors, the company will launch a new variant of the Nubia Z11 mini smartphone. There are not much details of this new device available currently but rumors confirms that this new device will feature a dual-rear camera setup but we have to wait for the leaks of the device for more details.

The Nubia Z11 Mini was launched back in April this year with features such as a 5-inch LTPS display with 2.5D arc Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 95% NTSC color gamut and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and was having the octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 (4×1.5GHz Cortex A53+ 4×1.2GHz Cortex A53) processor with Adreno 405 GPU under the hood.

It was having 3GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage and expandable storage up to 200GB with microSD card slot. It supports Dual SIM and runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with nubia UI 3.9.6 on top. A 16-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX298 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 6P lens and PDAF features was available with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with features such as 1.4um, f/2.4 aperture and 80-degree wide-angle lens.

There was a 2800mAh battery powering it with fast charging feature enabled. Connectivity options includes 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1,GPS and USB Type-C. It measures 141.4x70x8 mm and weights 138 grams.
