Samsung recently launched the Samsung Galaxy On7 2016 in China and is also expected to launch the Galaxy On5 2016 in China as the company is already teasing the device. The Korean giant recently started teasing a new device in the Galaxy On series on Flipkart and it was recently confirmed that the company will launch the Galaxy On8 smartphone soon via Flipkart.

Today the company launched the Samsung Galaxy On8 smartphone for India market priced at Rs. 15,900 (around $239) and it will be available for sale starting 2nd October at 11:59 PM during the Flipkart’s ‘Big Billion Days’ sale starting 2nd-6th September. The Galaxy On8 is expected to be available in the September 3rd sale in which the e-commerce company will sell the smartphones with offers and discounts.

The Samsung Galaxy On8 comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7580 (S5E7580) processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB with microSD card. It runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and supports Dual SIMs.

It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Animated Photo, Anti-fog, Auto, Beauty Face, Continuous Shot, HDR (High Dynamic Range), Interval Shot, Night, Panorama, Pro, Sports mode and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with front LED flash as well.

It is backed up by a 3300mAh removable battery and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, 3G (HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, HSPA+ 42.2 Mbps), 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
