Sony Xperia XR leaked in new renders

Sony’s upcoming smartphone Sony Xperia XR also known as Sony Xperia F8331 has been leaked in a new set of HD renders now. The device was previously spotted in leaked images with model numbers Xperia F8331 and Xperia F8332 and were said to be the successors to the Xperia X performance which were then confirmed to be the Xperia XR model numbers. Sony has already confirmed its September 1st IFA event in Berlin where the company is expected to launch this new device.

The twitter leakster Onleaks has now shared some of the leaked renders of the device now featuring the device in Blue color. The device comes with curved edges and the leaked images also shows that it will have a power button on the right side that will have a fingerprint sensor.

The camera comes with a dual tone LED flash below the sensor and there is a dedicated camera button also available to get photos without touching the touch screen button while taking pictures. OnLeaks has also confirmed that the Xperia XR will measure 146.4 x 71.9 x 8.1mm.

The Sony Xperia XR is rumored to come with a full metal unibody design and it will feature a 5.1-inch Full HD display. It is expected to have 3GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage capacity with up to 200GB microSD card expandable storage capacity. It features a 23-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel front facing camera. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 820 processor and will run on Android 6 Marshmallow out of the box.

The Xperia XR is also rumored to support 4K video recording with both rear and front facing cameras and will also feature the USB Type-C port. It will support 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C connectivity options and will also have a fingerprint scanner on the power button as we discussed earlier.
