Meizu has officially announced that it will hold an official event on August 10 where the company is expected to announce its new E series smartphone Meizu M3E. The device that was previously rumored to be launched as Meizu M1E has been confirmed to be launched as Meizu M3E by one of the official teaser posters from Meizu posted on the weibo account. The device may also be launched as Meizu E if we believe the recent rumors about this upcoming Meizu smartphone.

According to the leaks the Meizu M3E or Meizu E will features a small 5.5-inch Full-HD Super AMOLED display with 1920x 1080 pixel resolution and will be powered by the 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor. It will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage capacity with MicroSD expandable storage capacity as well.

It is also rumored to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and there will be a 5-megapixel front facing camera. It will have a 3,100mAh battery with mCharge feature that will charge the device battery up to 90 per cent in just 1 hour.

This Meizu device will run on the Android 5.1.1 out of the box with Flyme OS 5.2.1 on top. According to new leak emerged on weibo shows that this new Meizu device will be able to control your car and will work only with Roewe RX5. The previous rumors has confirmed that the new Meizu M3E or M1E will feature a curved dual edge display and will be placed in the flagship category. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Flyme OS out of the box and will have all other features we listed above.
