As the company is hosting this event in San Francisco, shows that the company is not interested to showcase the device in the IFA event going to take place in Berlin from 2nd to 7th September. The official invite comes with the phrase “Play More” with no other hints about the device. According to the rumors the V20 is expected to launch with a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 820 chipset and will run on the Android 7.0 Nougat that is going to launch at summer’s end.

Other rumors of the LG V20 includes 4GB of RAM with 32GB and 64GB storage variants and expandable storage slot with up to 256GB storage as well. If we talk about the camera, it is rumored to have a 20-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front facing camera. A large 4,000mAh battery is expected to back up the device. Other rumors includes a dual-camera on the rear side and a dual-display just like the V10.

LG Electronics CEO MC Business Division president Jojunho commented on V20 launch, “The V20 will be the first smartphone running the latest Android Nougat OS among the newly released smart phones. V20 is expected to set new standards in the premium phone market with more expanded multimedia capabilities.”
