HP Elite X3 Goes on Live sales in Australia, starts at $1,199 AUD($914 USD)

The HP Elite X3 flagship phablet manufactured by HP has been listed on the HP Australia Online store carrying a huge price tag of $1,199 Australian Dollars (about $914 US Dollars) including tax.

The Elite X3 had been touted to officially go on sale in the US and elsewhere this August but while the device is still been expected in the US, it has gone live already in the Australia with the device expected to be delivered within 8 – 12 working days.

The HP Elite X3 is a 5.96-inches 2k resolution phablet which offers all the functionalities of Microsoft office and more, booting Windows 10 Mobile Operating system. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and also features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phablet support an expansion of up to 2TB on the internal memory via microSD card.

The HP Elite X3 also features a 16MP rear facing camera unit with LED flash and up front, you get an 8MP sensor. The Elite X3 packs a massive 4150mAh battery which supports USB Type-C charging interface. In addition to all these, the Elite X3 also comes with IP67 rating for dust- and water-resistance and MIL-STD-810 rating with assurance of device protection for drops from up to 1 meter.

The Elite X3 is expected to be avilable in more than 47 countries worldwide including the UK and US. The device was earlier rumored to start shipping from August onwards with a price tag of $699 in the United States.
