Gionee M6 Mini (GN5003) Gets Approved on TENAA, with 5.3-inch HD & More!

Gionee released the M6 and M6 Plus towards the end of last month and the smartphones are yet to go on sales but we are getting news of another Gionee smartphone in the works. The device was spotted on TENAA where it adorns the model name Gionee GN5003 and a few specifications were listed as well. The device looked like a mini/toned down version of the Gionee M6, perhaps targeted at the low-end of the market who cannot afford the price of the M6.

According to the TENAA listing, the Gionee M6 Mini with model GN5003 sports a 5.3-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The Gold colored smartphone is powered by an Octa-core processor but the specific brand wasn’t disclosed but it is thought to be a MediaTek chipset. The Gionee GN5003 also packs a 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage space which can be notched further up via a microSD card.

The lsiting also reveals that the Gionee M6 Mini will boot Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out-of-the-box and crams a 4000mAh battery under its hood. Talking about the camera, the smartphone will hold a 13MP rear camera sensor with LED flash and there is an ample 5MP front facing camera for selfies.

The Gionee M6 Mini (GN5003)  also features a host of connectivity options like 4G VoLTE ,3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG. The device comes in Gold color and may likely hit the market anytime soon.
