Huawei Maimang 5 launched with 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 625 and 3340mAh battery

Huawei has finally launched its new Maimang flagship called the Maimang 5 in an official event in China. The device got the TENAA approval few days back leaking its specifications and the images. It is priced at 2399 yuan (around $359) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage option and the 4GB RAM + 64GB variant is priced at 2599 yuan (around $389). This device is now available for pre-orders in China and will be available for sale from July 21 in the home country. No details about its global launch.

It comes with Champagne Gold, Rose Gold and Moonlight silver color options and comes with a 5.5-inch full HD 2.5D durved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It comes with a strong 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU and 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage options having a microSD expandable storage slot with up to 128GB storage expansion.

It runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with EMUI 4.1 and supports Dual-SIM. It features a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, OIS,  Sony IMX298, f/2.0 aperture, 6P lens and 4K video recording features with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a 3340mAh battery and connectivity options like 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C.

It measures 151.8×75.7×7.3mm and weights 160g. It also features full metal unibody design and a fingerprint sensor is place on the back of the phone capable of unlocking the device within 0.3 seconds.
