Entry-level Lenovo Vibe A and Lenovo VIBE C2 launched

Lenovo today launched a new budgeted entry-level smartphone called the Lenovo Vibe A that comes with a small display and a small battery enough to give you a long battery life. There are no details about its pricing and availability details but we can expect it to launch with a price tag less than $74 and is launched in Russia. It will be the successor to the Lenovo A1000 that was launched last year. This is the first Vibe A series device.

The Lenovo Vibe A comes with a 4-inch WVGA display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution and is powered by the 1.3 GHz quad-core Spreadtrun SC7731 processor with Mali-400 GPU. It will have 512MB of RAM and 4GB internal storage capacity with up to 32GB micro SD card expandable storage capacity. It runs on the Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS out of the box and also supports Dual SIM.

It features a 5-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera with LED flash and a VGA (0.3 MP) fixed-focus front-facing camera. It comes with the small 1700mAh battery and connectivity options includes 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with no 4G connectivity. There are no details about its global availability and pricing details as of yet. So we have to wait for the company to unveil it outside Brazil.

Lenovo also launched the Lenovo VIBE C2 that comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and 70% NTSC color gamut. It is powered by a 1 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB/16GB internal storage options with expandable storage up to 32GB with microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS with Vibe UI and supports Dual micro SIM.

It features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, Sony 219 and a 1/4″ sensor with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with a good 2750mAh battery and connectivity options like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, 1W speaker, Smart PA with Waves Maxx audio. It measures 143 x 71.4 x 8.55mm and weights 139g. No details outed by the company about its pricing and availability details.
