Asus launches Zenfone 3 Deluxe Snapdragon 821 variant

Asus has finally announced the world’s first smartphone Zenfone 3 Deluxe with the latest Snapdragon 821 SoC. ASUS launched the Zenfone 3 series devices that includes Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Ultra and Zenfone 3 Deluxe at the Computex event in May. The Snapdragon 821 SoC variant of the Zenfone 3 Deluxe is also listed on official website here. Let’s now check the pricing for this new monster.

The latest Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe smartphone with Snapdragon 821 SoC + 6GB RAM and 256GB internal storage is priced at NT $24,990 (around $775), the Snapdragon 820 SoC + 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage is priced at NT$17,990 (around $558) and the variant with Snapdragon 820 SoC + 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage is priced at NT$15,990 (around $496). It will be available for sale in Taiwan and Hong Kong next month. The company, however, hasn’t announced the availability details of the Snapdragon 821 variant.

The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe comes with same other specifications like the original one like it comes with a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 100% NTSC color Gamut, Corning Gorilla Glass4 protection and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by the Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 / Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU and features 6GB of RAM with 64GB/128GB/256GB internal storage with microSD expandable storage. It supports Dual SIM and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Zen UI 3.0 on top.

It features a 23-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, Sony IMX318 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS and Laser AF with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera having  f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-viewing angle. There is again a 3000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and BoostMaster Fast Charging features. It comes with connectivity options like 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB 3.0 Type-C. It also features Dual Five-magnet speakers, NXP smart amplifier, Hi-Res Audio (HRA). It measures 156.4 x 77.4 x 4.2 ~ 7.5 mm and weights 170 grams.
