Do you remember the Xiaomi Mi Max that was launched with a massive 6.44-inch display in the phablet category. Now the Korean giant is also spotted working on an even bigger 7-inch display and this new device will be launched in the Galaxy J Series that is currently having the low-end to mid-range line of devices. This new phablet from Samsung will be launched as Samsung Galaxy J MAX that sound similar to the Mi Max name. The name hints towards a competitor of the Mi Max with similar pricing may be.

The popular leakster @evleaks has shared an image from this new upcoming Galaxy J series device on his Twitter profile that comes with the upper rear panel of the device and the Galaxy J Max brand logo. The rear panel comes with the primary camera, the LED flash and the speaker. He hasn’t shared any specifications or other details about this device, but according to sammobile, it will have a massive 7-inch display. It will support dual-SIM, GSM, HSDPA and LTE connectivity options.

There are no other details available about this phablet as of now and the launch date of this device is currently unknown as well. Samsung has not yet officially confirmed any rumors about this device so take these details with a pinch of salt or wait for the official confirmation and the FCC and TENAA certifications to have more details about this device. This device is expected to arrive in India first followed by other regions.
