Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus launched with 6GB RAM, Snapdragon 821 and Dual 13MP rear cameras

Xiaomi not only launched the Xiaomi Mi 5s flagship in the official event but also launched the bigger variant of the Mi 5s called the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus that comes with mode RAM, bigger display, bigger battery and improved dual cameras on back. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is priced at 2299 yuan (around $344) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage option and 2599 yuan (around $389) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage option. It will be available in China from September 29th. No details available about its global availability.

Color options available are Gold, Dark Grey, Silver and Rose Gold colors. It features a full metal unibody design and comes with a 5.7-inch full-HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution, 550 nits brightness, 94% NTSC color gamut and is powered by a 2.35GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU.

It comes with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM + 64GB (UFS 2.0) internal storage and 6GB LPDDR4 RAM + 128GB (UFS 2.0) internal storage. It runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) based company’s MIUI 8 skin on top. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus supports Dual-SIMs and features a 13-megapixel dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash, 120fps slomo at 720p, Sony IMX258 sensor, PDAF, 4K video recording and a 4-megapixel front-facing camera with 80-degree wide-angle lens, 1080p video recording, 2um pixels and f/2.0 aperture.

It is backed up by a 3800mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 feature and connectivity options includes 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack and WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (MU-MIMO). It features a fingerprint scanner on the rear side. It measures 154.6x 77.7x 7.95 mm and weights 168 grams.
