Xiaomi has announced the new Xiaomi Redmi 3X device along with the Xiaomi Redmi 3S. The device will be exclusively available with the Chienese carrier China Unicom and has similar features like the Redmi 3S. It is priced at 899 yuan (around $136) in China and will be available in silver and gold color options. It comes with a full metal magnesium alloy unibody design and also has a fingerprint sensor available on the rear side. Let’s check out the specifications of this device in brief.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3X comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and is powered by a octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 ( 4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It has 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 128GB with microSD card slot. It runs on the company’s MIUI 7 based on Android and comes with hybrid Dual SIM option.

It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video recording with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, f/2.2 aperture and 1080p video recording. It is backed up by a 4100mAh battery and connectivity options available are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and GLONASS. It measures 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5mm and weights 144 grams.
