SophiaLenovo today announced the first Tango enabled smartphone Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro with premium features and 3 cameras on the rear side at the Tech World 2016 event in San Francisco in partnership with Google as they promised at MWC 2016. The Tango enabling lets its user enjoy the AR experience with the help of three cameras at the back and the Tango’s 3D mapping technology.
It has three camera on the rear side a 16-megapixel RGB camera, a depth camera and a motion tracking camera making it easy to enjoy the AR features of this device. The Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro has a full metal body body and is priced at $499 and will be available globally starting September.
The Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro comes with a 6.4-inch Quad HD 2.5D Curved Glass display with 2560 × 1440 pixels resolution and is powered by a octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor (Quad 1.8GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.2GHz A53 CPUs) with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage with expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD card.
It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box and supports Dual SIM. It features a 16-megapixel camera with PDAF, Depth Sensor for Tango and Motion Tracking Sensor for Tango. An 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and 1.4μm pixel size is also available. It is backed up by a 4050mAh battery with fast charging feature and also has a fingerprint scanner on the rear side.
Connectivity options includes 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS, other features includes DOLBY Atmos sound with 5.1 audio capture and Triple Array Microphones with Active Noise-Cancellation. It measures 88.57 x 179.83 x 6.98-10.7mm and weights 259 grams.
