LG G Pad III 8.0 launched in US and Korea for $240

LG today announced its new Android tablet called the LG G Pad III 8.0 in US and Korea. This mid-range tablet comes with a price tag of $240 in the US and 330,000 Won in Korea. It will be available in Indigo Black and White color options.

This tablet comes with features like a Reader Mode whcih helps better reading for a long time. The Microsoft Office apps like Word, Excel and PowerPoint helps you create presentation and other documents anywhere.

The LG G Pad III 8.0 comes with an 8-inch HD IPS display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core processor supported by 2GB of RAM and 16GB/ 32GB inbuilt storage options with up to 64GB microSD card expandable storage. It runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box.

It features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera as well. A large 4,800mAh battery powers this device for a long time. Connectivity options includes 4G LTE (Optional), WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB Type-A. It measures 210.7×124.1×7.9mm and weights 309 grams.
