YU YUNICORN announced with fingerprint sensor, 4GB RAM and 4000mAh battery in India

Micromax’s subsidiary YU has announced its new flagship device YU YUNICORN in India with top-end features. It is priced at discounted Rs. 12,999 (around $194) for its first month sale and after that, it will be available for Rs. 13,499 (around $201). This device will available exclusively through Indian e-retailer Flipkart in the first flash sale on June 7th for which the registrations have already started. it comes in a brushed aluminium back and 8.5mm slim metal frame.

The YU YUNICORN comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 450 cd/m2 brightness and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by the 1.8GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with Mali T860 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage with expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD card.

It runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS out of the box and supports Dual SIM. It features a It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens and PDAF features. A 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 4P lens is also available. It is backed up by a 4000mAh battery and connectivity options includes 4G LTE,WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio and DTS audio. It measures 75.4×153.3×8.5 mm and weights 172 grams. A fingerprint scanner is also available in the physical home button.
