Lenovo launches ZUK Z2 with fingerprint sensor, Snapdragon 820 and 4GB RAM

Lenovo’s subsidiary ZUK has announced its new flagship device ZUK Z2 in China in the official event finally after a number of leaks and rumors. The ZUK Z2 comes with top-end features at an affordable rate.It has the latest hardware, software, fingerprint scanning technology, 5-inch display, huge amount of RAM and internal storage. You don’t want to miss this device at the attractive 1799 yuan which is just $273 approx. according to the current exchange rates which is a superb price for such a high-end device. It will be available in China from June 7th and registrations has started for the sale from today. The company also announced a USB Type-C wireless charger for ZUK Z2 that is priced at 299 yuan (around $45).

Now let’s check out the specs of this device. The ZUK Z2 comes with a 5-inch Full HD LTPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 2.15GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It features 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage capacity. It runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS with ZUI 2.0 on top and also supports Dual SIM.

It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/ 2.2, 5P lens, ISOCELL sensor, PDAF, CAF dual-mode focus and EIS feature. An 8-megapixel front-facing camera with 1.4μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture and 78.9-degree wide viewing angle. It has a 3500mAh battery with Dual fast charging and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 features that can charge the phone up to 80% in just 1 hour.

Connectivity options includes 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB 2.0 Type-C. It measures 141.65×68.88×8.45 mm and weights 149 grams. It will be available in Black and White color options and it also features a U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint sensor embedded on the physical home button which can unlock the device in under 0.1 seconds.
