Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 (SM-J7109, SM-J7108) and Galaxy J5 2016 (SM-J5108) got TENAA approval

After the Galaxy A9 pro, two more unannounced Samsung devices Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 and Galaxy J5 2016 has now got the TENAA approval revealing the specifications and images of both the devices. The Galaxy J5 2016 comes with model number SM-J5108 and the Galaxy J7 2016 comes is listed with two listings and model number SM-J7109 and SM-J7108. The devices are expected to be launched soon, may be in next 6-7 days from now, as the TENAA approved devices from Samsung gets launched after few days of its listing at TENAA.

The TENAA listing for the SM-J5108 Galaxy J5 2016 comes with specifications like 5.2-inch AMOLED display with 720 × 1280 pixel resolution and is powered by the 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1.1 OS out of the box and comes with 16 GB inbuilt storage capacity with 64GB expandable storage capacity. The TENAA listing confirms that the device is the variant of the China Mobile carrier in China.

It features an 8-megapixel or 13-megapixel rear camera with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The device supports connectivity options like 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, USB, Bluetooth and other standard connectivity options. It measures 145.7 × 72.3 × 7.9 mm and weights 155.4 grams. It is listed in white, Gold and Pink Gold color options.The device looks like to have a fingerprint scanner on the home button.

The Galaxy J7 2016 SM-J7108 and Galaxy J7 2016 SM-J7109 has similar specs with minor differences and share the same design. The Galaxy J7 2016 SM-J7108 TENAA listing comes with 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor and has 3GB of RAM with 16GB inbuilt storage capacity and 128GB expandable storage. it runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS pout of the box. It features an 8-megapixel or 13-megapixel rear camera with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. it measures 151.7 × 75.9 × 7.6 mm and weights 165 grams. It is listed in Gold and white colors.

It has similar connectivity options like Galaxy J5 2016 like 4G LTE, 3G etc. The Galaxy J7 2016 SM-J7109 TENAA listing comes with similar specs like the SM-J7108 variant with the difference of processor clock speed of 1.5GHz or 1.2GHz instead of 1.6GHz. SM-J7108 is the China Mobile variant whereas the SM-J7109 is the China Telecom variant.
