TENAA leaks out Asus Pegasus X005 with 5.5-inch display and 2GB RAM

Asus is going to launch a new smartphone in the Asus Pegasus series soon as a new smartphone with name ASUS_X005 has got the TENAA certification in China that comes with high end specs. The Ausus Pegasus series has smartphones like Pegasus X002, Pegasus X003 and Pegasus 2 Plus X550 that has excellent features perfect for a flagship. The ASUS_X005 will be called as the Asus Pegasus X005 and we may see an announcement from Asus in the CES 2015 for this phone.

The ASUS_X005 (Asus Pegasus X005) comes with a 5.5-inch TFT Full HD display with 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core processor that is expected to be the MediaTek MT6753 SoC. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage capacity with expandable storage up to 32GB via micro SD card slot. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with Zen UI on top.

Most likely it will support Dual SIM and the listing says that it features an 8-megapixel or 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. It measures 155 × 76.4 × 9 mm and weights 176.7gms. Color options includes Blue, white and gold. It supports 4G TD-LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS etc connectivity features. The battery capacity is not listed in the TENAA listing but we can get the full details soon as ASUS may launch the phone in the CES 2016 that is just 2-3 days away from now.

Asus Pegasus 2 Plus was launched in July last year with 5.5-inch full-HD display, a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 3GB of RAM. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop-based Zen UI skin on top. It support a 3030mAh battery and was available in Rose Gold and White colour options.
