After teasing the new Huawei Enjoy 5 on the Weibo account, Huawei has launched the new affordable Enjoy 5 smartphone. Huawei Enjoy 5 was called as Huawei Honor Play 5X in the previous leaks. The phone is priced at 999 Yuan (around $157) and will be available for pre-order starting today at 16: 00 at 18 o’clock on the October 15 and will be available for sale starting October 16 in China(Please check the update at bottom). The phone comes with model number TIT-AL00.

Huawei Enjoy 5 runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop based EMUI 3.0 OS out of the box. It features a 5-inch HD display with 1280 × 720 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage capacity with up to 128GB Micro SD expandable storage slot. It also features a 13-Megapixel rear CMOS sensor camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter.

It weights just 160 gms and dimensions measuring 143.1 x 71.8 x 9.7 mm. It features a large 4,000mAh battery that, company claims, can give 25 days long battery life. It supports 4G / 3G / 2G networks and also comes with dual-SIM support. FM Radio is also available.

A few days back, Huawei announced Honor 7 smartphone for Indian market where it will be available for INR 22,999 ($354) and will be available on Indian online retailer Flipkart starting October 15. Honor 7 comes with specifications like 5.2-inch Full HD LCD display, an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 935 procesor (2.2GHz Cortex-A53 x 4 + 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 x 4) and Mali-T628 MP4 GPU, 20 megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus and two-tone LED flash, 1080p video, 8 megapixel front camera, 3100mAh battery, 3GB RAM, 16GB storage with microSD support and fingerprint sensor.
