JulieXiaomi is currently the best seller smartphone manufacturer in China and now in India. Recently, Xiaomi launches MIUI7 in India but haven’t announced any new phone, apart from new color variants of Mi 4i. Xiaomi is expected to release its new flagship soon.
If we believe recent Chinese media reports, Xiaomi is working on new smartphone called Xiaomi Mi Edge which is going to have a curved display. Not only curved, the smartphone will use, world’s first, the Dual Edge display.
Online tipster in China, Kjuma, has posted some information about this new smartphone on Weibo. Xiaomi Mi Edge will feature a 5.2 inch QHD 2K screen with a side screen similar to Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. This smartphone will support fingerprint scanner and there will be 3 GB or 4GB of RAM.
Further, the reports suggests that the Mi Edge will use the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor. This smartphone from Xiaomi is expected to launch in October. The price of this phone will be 2,500 yuan ($391 Approx.). This phone will have 16-megapixel camera.
The leak also says that Xiaomi will launch Mi 2 tablet, smart watches, Bluetooth headsets in October along with Xiaomi Mi Edge.
