Acer: expected to launch 4 new windows 10 Mobile devices at IFA event

Yesterday only the global launch of windows 10 took place. And after that the windows users are eagerly waiting for the launch of the windows 10 mobile operating system. Though there is no set date for its launch. According to the rumours it may be launched in October or November this year. But as per information received certain mobile companies have already started moving ahead and are preparing for the launch of windows 10 mobile handsets. Amongst these, most rumoured one is Acer.

According to Roland Quandt, the editor of a German website Win Future’s , Taiwanese Computer and Phone maker company Acer is expected to launch almost 4 new Windows 10 mobile handsets during this year’s IFA conference which is going to take place in September in Berlin.

Ronald Quandt has tweeted about the expected launch of 4 new windows 10 mobile phones by Acer but unfortunately no other details about these handsets have been given.

But yes, at this point of time it seems safe to assume that these new handsets may be powered with the Washington based company Redmond’s upcoming windows 10 for mobiles as their operating system.

Anthony Doherty, who is a Microsoft executive and who works as windows and Surface Business group lead in South Africa, recently spoke about the windows 10 for mobiles and revealed that this new operating system for mobile phones is expected to arrive during November timeframe.

Earlier this year Acer had announced a Windows 8.1 based mobile phone in April. This handset, Liquid M220 was an entry level phone and it featured a 4 inch display. It had been powered with 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, having 512 MB RAM .it had a rear camera of 5MP and a front shooting camera of 2 MP. Internal storage 4 GB was present and had a microSd card slot for expanding the memory.

This time around it is being rumoured that company may launch 4 new windows 10 operating system handsets. So there will be a lot more to listen till something finally comes up. Till then enjoy the guessing games about windows 10 mobile devices.
