Lenovo S60 is a mid range device and it was launched in the market in around March 2015. At the time of release this Chinese company launched it with Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system instead of using Lollipop in this device.

As per the latest news available in the market, the company has started pushing Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system in its smartphone S60. Further more, reports have confirmed that right now this update is being rolled out only in one of the European countries i.e Greece. It is expected that this Chinese company is going to continue rolling out of android Lollipop 5.1 to other countries across the world in the couple of upcoming weeks.

Lenovo took almost around 4 months for rectifying its error. But now that it has started rolling out Lollipop 5.1, the users of S60 will be soon able to enjoy the new features and other improvements which are available through Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system.

Users be sure you have enough storage space:

The users of Lenovo S60 who reside in Greece should now check up their smartphones for the update since this update roll out is happening over the air (OTA) in waves. This also means that if your phone has still not received this new operating system, then you should show some patience and wait until and unless you get a notification.

Another important point which the users must keep in check is the availability of free storage space.

The users must note that this update is not less than 1.32 GB in size, so they must have sufficient free storage space in their device before they install this new update.

One more thing that the users need to bear in mind is that you have atleast 50% battery charged and also ensure that you are connected to a Wi- Fi network before you start the update.

One precaution which you must take is that, do take a backup of your personal data before starting the update. This update won’t delete your personal data but still you must take pre caution, in case something bad happens.
