As per everyone’s expectations, new iPod touch has been launched by Apple. As compared to the previous generation iPod which had A5 chip, this one is provided with 64 bit Apple A8 chip which is faster along with it there is M8 motion co- processor for fitness tracking. This new iPod touch has been provided with new iSight camera (8 MP) with f/2.4 aperture, LED flash along with 1080 p video recording. Front facing camera has been improved and is of 1.2 MP with f/ 2.2 aperture and video recording is of 720 p.

Display: it’s the same. 4 inch (1136 x 640 pixels), multi touch, IPS display at 326 pixel density.

Apple has launched Apple music in almost 100 countries including India, a few weeks ago. This comes with a trial of three months after which it costs around Rs. 120 per month for a person and in case of family plan of upto six members it will cost around Rs. 190/ month.

It has been priced at Rs. 18900 (including VAT) for 16GB model, 32 GB model is available for Rs.22900 (inc VAT) and 64 GB model is available for 26,900 (inc VAT).

Apple has introduced a new model of iPod Touch with 128 GB storage in U.S for $399 in addition to already existing 16 GB, 32GB and 64 GB which have been priced US $199, US $249 and US $299 respectively.

Space grey, Pink, Silver, Gold and Blue are colours of new iPod touch.

In addition to the existing space grey and silver colours, the iPod shuffle and iPod nano will be available in blue, pink and gold variants.

The new iPod family is available in its new colours across the India through select Apple authorised resellers.
