SophiaYesterday, Motorola announced that Android 5.0 Lollipop update is now rolling for moto G 1st Gen and Moto G 2nd Gen in India as well as for Moto G 2nd Gen in US too. Motorola tweeted this news via their Twitter account and Facebook accounts.

Users can check for notification on their device for this update by checking in Settings > About Phone > System Update.

The new update comes with build number 22.21.28.en.03 that brings the new Material Design UI and other new features such as new notification controls, an improved battery saver, improved on device security and many other features.
