SophiaXiaomi is all set to launch its smartphone Xiaomi Redmi 1S in India. Xiaomi has sent out invitations for an event Bloggers Meet on August 26 where it will launch this new smartphone.
Xiaomi Redmi 1S is a Dual SIM smartphone that comes with a 4.7-inch IPS-LCD display with 1280×720 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection. It is powered by a 1.6GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8228 processor with Adreno 305 GPU.
It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with MIUI on top. It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage with up to 32GB MicroSD card expandable storage capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi 1S has a 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and flash. It also features a 1.3 MP front camera for Selfie lovers. it comes with a 2000 mAh battery and connectivity options available are GPS, WLAN, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio, 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi etc.
Xiaomi has recently launched Mi3 smartphone in India with high end specs for only Rs. 13,999 via flipkart. Mi3 is getting great response in India where it is going out of stock within few seconds.
