Google has announced its upcoming I/O event that is scheduled for May 17th this year where we might see the announcement for the Google’s upcoming Android version 8.0 or Android “O”. The search engine giant however haven’t sent any invites for the event but instead posted a puzzle to solve. Google developers on their Twitter account also shared a puzzle and solving this puzzle confirms the Google’s upcoming I/O event that is scheduled to held in Mountain View, California on May 17 and will go through May 19. Google Tweeted, “Around the world, from here to there, to the most clever minds, the secret will share. #googledevs #savethedate http://goo.gl/oqro8L”.

Google has also started a dedicated page on their official website but this page doesn’t have any details on the I/O event. We may see the registration page opening shortly on this official page for the users that wish to participate in this event. However, no details are available about which new announcements the company will make in the event. Google announced several new products in the last year’s I/O event including the new Google Assistant, Allo messaging app, Duo app for video calling and the Google Daydream mobile virtual reality platform.
