LG G6 renders leaked online, will feature non-modular design

LG launched the flagship LG G5 this year at the MWC event with a modular design and with some mods that LG calls LG Friends. The company launched the LG G5 with top-end specifications but the device failed to impress most of the audience. As we know, LG’s upcoming flagship will be LG G6 and the company might be working on a new design for better adaption by the users. Some renders of the LG G6 have been spotted online that shows that this new flagship from LG won’t be having any modular design like its pre-decesser.

The LG G6 leaked renders confirms that this device will again feature a dual-rear camera setup and will also have a fingerprint scanner below the rear cameras. The leaked renders confirms that this new flagship from LG will feature a USB Type-C port on the bottom panel and a a loudspeaker grill is along with the Type-C port. The device also comes with a 3.5 audio jack on the top panel. According to the leaks, the LG G6 back panel will be made up of metal and will be non-removable. It will measure 148.8 x 72.3 x 8.3mm.

The LG G6 is expected to launch with a 5.3-inch Quad HD display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixels resolution and will be powered by the newest Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 835 SoC. The device will be powered by a larger battery than the LG G5 and will also support Quick Charge 4.0 feature that is available with the new SD836 chipset. The LG G6 will also support wireless charging that will charge the phone up to 50% in 30 just minutes. The LG G6 will also have upgraded rear and front cameras with more feature and will also have 4G+ and VoLTE connectivity features as per rumors.

The LG G6 is expected to release next year in February or March and will feature glossy and matte finishes according to the rumors online.
